Privacy Policy

Last updated 3 November 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how RGTS Software Inc. ("we", "us", "our"), the operator of Stream247, collects, uses, shares and protects personal data. It is written with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 in mind.

It covers two groups of people: Hosts (our customers who create a Stream247 account and their team members) and Attendees (people who register for or join a Host's webinar).

2. Our role

  • For Host account and billing data, we decide how the data is used and act as the Data Fiduciary.
  • For Attendee data collected on a Host's registration page or webinar, the Host is the Data Fiduciary and we process the data on the Host's behalf to provide the Service. Attendees should contact the Host first about their data; we will help the Host respond.

3. Data we collect

From Hosts: name, email address, mobile number, password (stored only as a secure hash), workspace name, team members' names and emails, billing details (company name, GSTIN, address), subscription and payment records, and content you upload such as videos, slides, pages and messages.

From Attendees: the details a Host's registration form asks for (usually name, email and mobile number, plus any custom questions), registration source and campaign (UTM) details, attendance and watch time, chat messages, poll answers, questions and offer clicks.

Automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and cookies described below. We use this to keep the Service secure and working, and to show analytics to Hosts.

Payments: card, UPI and bank details are entered directly with our payment partner Razorpay. We do not see or store your full card number or UPI PIN.

4. How we use data

  • To create and run accounts, workspaces and webinars, and to deliver registration confirmations, reminders and joining links on behalf of Hosts.
  • To process subscriptions, recurring payments and invoices.
  • To send service messages such as sign-in codes, password resets, invitations, billing notices and important updates.
  • To provide analytics to Hosts, to keep the Service secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and to fix problems and improve the Service.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting requirements.

6. Sharing and service providers

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with service providers that help us run the Service, under contracts that require them to protect it:

  • Razorpay — payments and recurring billing.
  • Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES) and Resend — sending platform emails.
  • Cloudflare — network security, content delivery and storage of recordings.
  • OVHcloud — server hosting for the platform and live video.
  • Google, Meta and Microsoft — website analytics and ad measurement on stream247.in, only for visitors who accept cookies.
  • Email and WhatsApp accounts that a Host connects — messages are sent through the Host's own account with that provider.

We may also disclose data when required by law, court order or a government authority, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the Service.

7. Where data is stored

Our servers and service providers may store and process data in India and in other countries, such as Singapore, the European Union and the United States. When data is transferred outside India, we use providers that apply appropriate security measures and we follow any restrictions notified under Indian law.

8. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies:

  • Essential — to keep you signed in and secure your session.
  • Registration tracking — on registration pages, to remember the campaign link a visitor came from, so Hosts can see which source brought a registration.
  • Preferences — such as light or dark theme, dismissed notices and your cookie choice, stored in your browser.
  • Analytics and advertising (only if you accept) — on our public website, sign-up and billing pages we use Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Pixel and Microsoft Clarity (heatmaps and session recordings of our public website) to understand how visitors use the site and to measure our ads. When you accept, we may also share a hashed (encrypted) form of your email and mobile number with Meta, and send purchase details to Google Analytics, so that sign-ups and purchases can be matched to our ads.

When you first visit stream247.in you can accept or reject these cookies. Nothing in the analytics and advertising group runs until you accept. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. These tools never run on the registration pages or webinar rooms of our Hosts.

A Host may add their own analytics or advertising pixels (for example Google Analytics or Meta Pixel) to their registration pages; those are controlled by the Host. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the Service may not work without essential cookies.

9. Data retention

We keep Host account and webinar data while the account is active. After an account is closed, we delete or anonymise it within 90 days, except records we must keep for longer by law (for example invoices and payment records for tax purposes). Hosts can delete webinars, recordings and contacts from the dashboard at any time.

10. Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, encrypted storage of connected-account secrets, access controls and regular backups. No system is completely secure; if a personal data breach affects you, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

11. Your rights

Subject to law, you can ask to access a summary of your personal data, correct or update it, erase it, withdraw consent, and nominate another person to exercise your rights if you are unable to. Attendees can unsubscribe from a Host's messages using the link in those messages.

To make a request, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity first.

12. Children

The Service is meant for adults. Hosts must not knowingly collect personal data of children (under 18) through Stream247 without verifiable consent of a parent or lawful guardian, as required by law.

13. Grievance officer

If you have a concern about how your data is handled, contact our Grievance Officer at [email protected]. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days. If you are not satisfied, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India once it is in operation.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date and tell Hosts about important changes by email or in the dashboard.
